The first Berliner - Ketchup recipe by HERTA HEUWER (1. Curry stand at Stuttgarter–Platz also called "STUTTI" in 1949) was recreated by Frank Friedrich in 2002 and convinced with its unique taste regular and new customers alike. This as well brought back historical memories back in which HERTA HEUWER 60 years later manifested herself once more.
Johnen & Spezial, two kinds that with their striking taste have a dominance of their own albeit the Spezial is very popular amongst our youngest consumers and therefore has been labelled the choice of kids as "kids-ketchup".
Tomato offers a taste of vitality with a slight hot finish, although the heat does not come from chilli or paprika, instead it comes from fresh herbs that have a soothing effect on the stomach. This ketchup "Vital" brings a calming balance to consumers with a sensitive stomach.
